Terms and Conditions

Last updated: April 2026
These are the terms that govern your use of The Centre & Edge website and learning platform. We've written them in plain language. Please read them before using our services — by accessing the platform or purchasing a programme, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

Centre & Edge Leadership is operated by Satija Legal & Consulting Pty Ltd, an Australian company.

Our leadership development programme is delivered online at centreandedge.com.

When we say "we", "us", or "our" we mean Satija Consulting. When we say "you" or "participant" we mean anyone who accesses our website, creates an account, or enrols in our programme.

2. Accepting these terms

By accessing our website or platform, or purchasing a programme, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you are enrolling on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms. We recommend saving or printing a copy of these terms for your records.

3. Our services

The Centre & Edge is a B2B leadership development programme designed for leaders in the public and for-purpose sectors.

Our services include:
  • Online self-paced learning modules hosted on our LearnWorlds platform
  • Live webinars and cohort sessions delivered via Zoom
  • Group and individual coaching sessions
  • Resources, assessments, and community access (where applicable)

Programme content, session schedules, and delivery formats may evolve over time. We will communicate any material changes to active participants.

4. Your account

To access the programme, you will need to create an account on our LearnWorlds platform.

You are responsible for:
  • Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential
  • All activity that takes place under your account
  • Notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access

Accounts are personal and non-transferable unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Sharing access with others is not permitted. We reserve the right to suspend or close an account if these terms are breached, with notice provided where reasonably practicable.

5. Payment and enrolment

Programme fees are set out on our website and confirmed at checkout. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

Individual Enrolment Organisational Enrolment
Payment is due at the time of enrolment. Access is granted once payment is confirmed. Invoice arrangements may be available. Contact us before enrolling to discuss terms.

We reserve the right to update our pricing. Any changes will not affect purchases already confirmed.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on The Centre & Edge platform — including course materials, videos, workbooks, frameworks, assessments, and written resources — is owned by or licensed to Satija Consulting and is protected by Australian and international copyright law.

When you enrol, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive licence to access and use the content for your own professional development. You may not:
  • Copy, reproduce, or redistribute content without our written permission
  • Use content for commercial purposes or deliver it to others as your own
  • Record live sessions without prior consent from us and all participants

If you'd like to use our content in another context — for example, within your organisation — please get in touch to discuss a licensing arrangement.

7. Acceptable use

We're building a community of thoughtful leaders. We ask that you engage with our platform and other participants with respect and integrity. You agree not to:

  • Use the platform in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or disruptive
  • Post or share content that is offensive, discriminatory, or misleading
  • Attempt to access parts of the system you are not authorised to use
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract content from the platform

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend access if these standards are not upheld.

8. Third-party platforms

Our programme relies on a small number of third-party platforms to function — including LearnWorlds, Zoom, and ActiveCampaign. These platforms have their own terms of service and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the actions, content, or availability of third-party services. Outages or changes to those platforms are outside our control, and we will work to minimise any disruption to your experience.

Our website may include links to external sites for your reference. These links are not endorsements, and we are not responsible for the content of external websites.

9. Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in that policy.

10. Disclaimers

The Centre & Edge programme is designed to support your professional development. While we invest deeply in the quality of our content and facilitation, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes — results will vary depending on individual application and context.

Our content is for educational and developmental purposes and does not constitute professional advice (legal, financial, clinical, or otherwise). Where specialist advice is needed, please consult a qualified professional.

We take reasonable care to ensure our platform is available and functioning, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We will work promptly to resolve any technical issues that arise.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any loss or damage arising from your use of our services is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant programme.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss — including loss of income, loss of data, or loss of opportunity — even if we were aware such loss was possible.

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

12. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) that cannot be excluded. If a service we provide fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to a remedy.

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any right or remedy you have under the ACL. Where there is any inconsistency between these terms and the ACL, the ACL prevails.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the date noted at the top. For material changes, active participants will be notified by email with reasonable notice before the changes take effect.

Continued use of the platform after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australian Capital Territory, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australian Capital Territory, unless otherwise required by law.

We're a small, people-centred business and would always prefer to resolve any issues directly and informally before any formal process. Please reach out to us first.

15. Contact us

If anything here is unclear, or you'd like to discuss a specific situation, we're easy to reach. You can contact us at info@centreandedge.com
